In the first study of its kind, German-based dating platform Erobella unpacked a staggering 2.7 million search terms to reveal men’s secret desires! Covering over 350 cities across Germany, the data provides insight into men’s preferred partner attributes and erotic tastes.
The old saying, “Gentlemen prefer blondes,” might not be far off the mark. More than half of Erobella’s users are on the lookout for blonde women. Black-haired women are a preference for just 13% of the men, while redheads enjoy slightly more popularity, with 22% of men expressing interest.
Body type also plays a role in men’s preferences. Erobella’s data points to a considerable preference for larger breasts, with 71% of men favoring a D cup size or larger. In contrast, only 17% of men prefer women with smaller breasts, falling within the AA to B cup range.
The data also sheds light on men’s preferences for more intimate attributes. Natural pubic hair appears to be a hit, with 75% of men accepting of it. More interestingly, every second man has an explicit preference for natural pubic hair, leaving only 25% of users desiring a completely shaven intimate area.
Erobella’s data
Looking at the spectrum of men’s sexual desires, Erobella’s data revealed a variety, from hardcore to more tender options. Double penetration and anal sex topped the list, but softer activities like extended foreplay, Nuru massage, and French kissing also ranked high. Erobella users could choose from 82 erotic preferences, reflecting a broad spectrum of sexual desires.
Erobella’s data is especially intriguing because, unlike most dating sites, its users are primarily looking for short-term, paid companionship. The financial implications suggest that men may be more open about their preferences when money is involved, making the data particularly compelling.
The data, drawn from about a million users between January and September 2021, confirmed several male clichés but also underscored the complexity of male sexuality.
